I found the idea of having a sign that reminded students not to disturb the teacher during her small group time. I've tried several things, but I have found that my DINT BUG ME hat is the easiest reminder. The kids think its funny and all I have to do is point to my hat if I'm being interrupted. It cuts down on loss of time in small group and teaches kids to work together to solve minor problems.
